About Us
Rosa Parks Elementary School is the primary site for the Rosa Parks Community Garden. Opened in 1997, Rosa Parks is a year round school with an enrollment of over  1300 students. Located in San Diego, CA , we are one of three schools in the City Heights Educational Collaborative that operate as “community schools”.  Our school garden site was an agreed upon location set aside by the entire school community  before the school was built.
