What's New!

DataDirector Chosen as District’s New Data Management Tool

DataDirector is a web-based data management tool that will provide teachers, principals, and central office
administrators quick access to a range of student achievement data (e.g., CST, CAHSEE, CELDT) via pre-built
and custom reports.

In addition, the system will make it possible for schools to scan student answer documents
from local assessments (e.g., benchmark assessments, end-of-course exams) on-site, so that results will be
available almost immediately.

Professional development will be provided for all principals during summer 2008 so that they will be able to access this year’s STAR data as soon as they are available from the California
Department of Education.

Additional professional development and support will be provided to the Collaborative school
sites in early september to ensure readiness for the scanning of benchmark assessment answer documents at the end of the first quarter of the
2008-09 school year.
