Note: A SDUSD calendar must be adopted for regular instructional programs conducted during the ten-month traditional school year period, September through June. In addition, a calendar for single-track, year-round schools is developed to be consistent with traditional calendars as to the numbers of instruction days, teacher work days, holidays and break periods. Both require Board of Education approval.

Hoover High is on a traditional school calendar while Monroe Clark Middle and Rosa Parks Elementary are on year-round calendars.
